Hi my friends,
Wow, are you as mystified by Ezekiel as I am. There is so much about this book with its prophecy and symbolism that I simply don’t grasp. Without a great deal of deep study and checking in with people much more scholarly than I am, I don’t think I will grasp it in its entirety. But, I have found several applications that can apply to us today, and I have shared them with all of you along the way.
As we continue to read through the rest of the book I would like to challenge all of you to simply notice the sins that the nations and the people listed in Ezekiel are guilty. Then I would encourage you to go before God and ask Him these questions,”Do I have that in my life”?, “Am I guilty of the same thing”? And, if God reveals to you that yes you are, then take those sins before God in a time of confession and allow His grace and forgiveness to fill you. Ask Him to give you the strength to change what you need to change, and the wisdom to see the sins in your life that cause you and He to drift apart.
I may not post everyday through the rest of Ezekiel, however, rest assured that as I come across an area that I feel God is leading me to share, I most certainly will share it with all of you.
You may always feel free to share with me what God is revealing to you in your life as well. Each day I will set up a page for the day’s readings. If you have something you would like to share feel free to leave a comment on that day’s post area.
See you on the other side of Ezekiel, or perhaps I will return when we visit the land of dry bones 🙂
Until next time
